Creating unified look to enhance brand recognition
Challenge
Manhattanville College decided to outsource all of its marketing initiative in order to increase brand recognition, establish a community presence in Westchester and its environs, increase enrollment, improve rankings and inspire alumni donations and participation.
Solution
Adler was awarded the contract to replace the internal office of communications and develop an integrated marketing communication plan for college-wide undergraduate and graduate admissions initiatives. Adler rolled out a new look to the brand, crafted compelling content for social media and press relations, increased efficiencies in production activities involving web and print media, and worked with departments to guide the creative vision for the college. Adler advised on advertising placements, and coordinated outreach efforts including print, digital, broadcast, and other formats to ensure a cost-effective strategy to reach prospective students, donors and other targeted constituencies.
Adler coordinates all writing, design, video and photography for all marketing collateral including the Alumni Magazine, the Honor Roll; admissions brochures, newsletters, social media, press releases and special events on campus.
Outcome
Manhattanville has significantly increased exposure in print and social media, an elevated design system that clearly communicates the unique offerings of the college, a dramatic rise in the quality and quantity of communications and, as a result, the number of inquiries and applications to the college has increased.
