Creating a global, immersive brand experience

Challenge

The Indaba tradeshow is one of the largest tourism marketing venues on the global calendar. This year’s exposition took place in Durban, South Africa. As an exhibitor in the show, Expedia was allocated space to feature their brands in a set design that had to meet the requirements of South African tourism, while maximizing their exposure. The tradeshow was also open to the public on the last day, increasing the need for the designs to support the event messaging: “Where travel and technology meet.”

The Response

Adler designed the Expedia booth graphics to showcase the Expedia portfolio of brands and provide a dynamic environment where Expedia’s market management teams could meet with existing and potential hotel partners.

The Outcome

As the largest travel company in the world and an integral participant at Indaba, Expedia’s exhibit enhanced their brand recognition and featured their superior technology platform, educating tradeshow attendees on their extensive portfolio of trusted online brands and confirming their position as the industry leader.
